Hart Mountain is a remote USFWS Refuge in Southern Oregon, close to the Californian border.

The ECAS started a long-term bird monitoring project in Spring 2009 with refuge staff and volunteers to monitor raptor nests and song birds densities in the Juniper / Mountain Mahogany woodlands at high elevations.
